Mike is a lifelong resident of Contra Costa County. He served the residents of the City of Pittsburg as a police officer for 21 years, retiring with the rank of lieutenant. Following his law enforcement career, Mike became a real estate broker and continues to operate a very successful company today.

In 2005, Mike became licensed in real estate and began growing his own company. He named it Blue Line Real Estate in honor of his law enforcement background. He is also an international best-selling real estate author, coach, and business leader. In November 2020, Mike continued his commitment to public service by being elected to the Antioch City Council, working to establish public safety. In 2010, Mike became a RE/MAX broker/owner and grew three thriving offices. In 2012, his RE/MAX Blue Line offices earned the Outstanding Brokerage of the Year award from the RE/MAX California Hawaii Region, and he was named Broker of the Year. In 2013, he was invited to join the prestigious Catalyst Broker program.

In 2018, Mike took his company in a new direction, leaving RE/MAX to operate independently. After years of growth, in 2025 he decided to return to the RE/MAX family, bringing his entire team back as RE/MAX Gold Blue Line Group. This is the first RE/MAX Gold office of its kind in Contra Costa County.
